Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia
“The ‘Philadelphia Bicycle Coalition’ was founded in a bar in Amtrak’s 30th Street Station, and and originally spent the bulk of its efforts on preserving bicyclists’ rights on roads, bridges, and on transit. The Coalition has been instrumental in millions of dollars in funding being committed to bicycle infrastructure in the Greater Philadelphia Region. In 2002, the organization changed its name to the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia.”

Cadence Youth Cycling
“Cadence Youth Cycling is a program of the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia fostering healthy habits, independence, and leadership, one ride at a time. High school students learn about teamwork, perseverance and goal-setting through the sport of cycling.”
Beginning in 2016, QCW became a Cadence Youth Cycling Sponsor and has provided annual support ever since for their program. In 2021, we were recognized by the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia with the BCYC Award, which is a great honor for our club.
